Published by godwar at 8:44 am under Uncategorized Edit This

Linux is one of the operating system. It is less used for having inferior applications. But some computer softwares can still work on Linux well.DVD ripper software is one of them. With so many powerful ones, which is better to choose?

There are some DVD rippers can work on Linux. And some of them have showed perfect functions.

HandBrake, originally a BeOS DVD ripper licensed under the General Public License (GPL), gained popularity as a Mac app and was praised for its ease of use and power.Unfortunately, there’s still no official Linux GUI.That meant for a long time, Linux users who weren’t familiar with the command line couldn’t use HandBrake. But luckily, Jeffrey Kirk created a GTK-based GUI known as HandBrakeGTK.
HandBrakeGTK also offers a ton of features but much slower than others.

AcidRip, is one of the powerful rippers around, not only convert DVD to avi,DVD to mp4,it also includes lots of powerful utilities.

dvd::rip is not the best one among them, but  it is one of the oldest and most well-known DVD ripping programs out there.Which one to choose depands on what exactly you need.
